GOM Resources Sdn Bhd is well known as an OIC (Offshore Installation Contractor) company with a reputable experience of well over 20 years in Transportation and Installation since 1991.

GOM Resources Sdn Bhd (205375-V) provides the following services:

·         1. Solution provider for offshore construction engineering project management and support      services

·         2. Pipeline installation and construction

·         3. Platform installation and removal, deepwater/ SURF installations

·         4. Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) and diving to the Oil and Gas industry

We have a vacancy as below:

Position : Assistant Vice President, Legal

Requirement:-

·        1.  Must possess Bachelor Degree in Law from recognize learning institution.

·         2. At least 10 years working experience in legal environment with 5 year working experience in Oil and Gas industry.

·         3. Most preferable as a Member of The Malaysian Bar.

·         4. Strong analytical, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibility

·         1. Mainly to manage the counsels on the legal implication of the company activities.

·        2.  To provides counsel to company personnel corporates matters comprising legal documentation and advice with the objective of adhering to the regulations and minimizing legal risks.

·         3. Responsible to handles the registration and protection of patents and trademarks where required.

·       4.   To support the Company in any legal action taken against it and provide advice in initiating legal action against aggressors.

·        5.  Obtains the services of outside counsel as required to complement available internal legal resources.
