The Business Unit Manager ( Rig - Operations)
Work Location: Malaysia
•lead and manage the operations within the business unit
•Demonstrate ability to understand financial statements, keep earnings positive and expenses under control and in line with revenue.
• Prove the ability to lead a business unit and to solve problems.
• Have a solid understanding of land and offshore drilling rigs and their associated equipment and inventory requirements. • Maintain current knowledge and awareness of national and local regulatory agencies laws/regulations in the countries within assigned business unit.
•Actively Involve in the Development of the strategic plan and ensure the implementation.
•Develop and maintain local relationships with vendors and government critical to the success of the operation.
•Support marketing, customer interaction, and business development in coordination with Business Unit Business Development Manager; they must interact with key customers to ensure business is maintained and/or developed.
Monitor and communicate inter- and intra- departmental salient matters
•Must communicate effectively with rig personnel, management, customers and board members.
Requirements
•Engineering degree or other higher technical educational background.
•8 years' experience as an Operations Manager.
•Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil industry.
•3 years plus Rig experience or similar platform require
•Experience with managing remote operations
The Drilling Manager
Work Location: Singapore
•A Drilling manager is required to run operations, costs, schedules, designs, engineering
•Direct enactment of the Operator’s drilling programs and manage Company’s resources being applied to the drilling activities at site so as to achieve safe, efficient and effective operations. Conduct, together with the Operator’s representatives, timely reviews of the drilling or work-over program
•Lead and develop a team of dedicated employees who deals with daily drilling and work-over activities.
•Responsible for drilling safety, budgeting, well planning and future development plans.
Involve in building an extensive knowledge base through the Well Services and Technology Group with the aim of improving well performance and completion lifetime.
•Develop local employees to meet international standards in alignment company standards.
•Training and mentoring is therefore an important part of the responsibility of the Drilling Manager. In light of this objective, an understanding for cultural differences and previous experience in mentoring is considered an advantage.
Requirements
•Engineering degree or other higher technical educational background.
•A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil industry within Drilling.
•Strong background in directional and air drilling experience is preferred.
•Proven track record in adapting to new environments.
•Ability to work independently and innovate.
•Good communication skills.
RIG MANAGER - Malaysia
• Responsible for overall rigsite operations including safety, environmental.
• preventing Accidents and Injuries as well as damage to the environment.
• life cycle management of the rig in accordance with Company's Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure that the unit fulfils all Classification, client and company requirements with regards to the technical standard of the unit, its equipment and certification. Plan, schedule, manage and direct vessel maintenance, surveys and repairs
• Monitoring performance of drilling operations to ensure they proceed safely, according to customer requirements, and in an optimally efficient manner, thereby maximizing performance and profitability.
• Adherence to and compliance with National/local governmental laws.
• Plan, forecast and monitor budgets and costs, control all financial aspects of the operation within the budget.
• Maintaining appropriate relations with client personnel.
• Seeking solutions to job related problems through proactive involvement.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 10 years experience in Rig
• Minimum 5 years experience as Rig manager or Drilling superintendent.
• Experiance in offshore, combined with experience in an office based role with responsibility for the management of operations, production or maintenance Demonstrated competence in emergency response skills.
Rig Manager - Singapore
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Location: Singapore
Responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all preventative maintenance activities and major repairs to guarantee efficient drilling and minimize downtime on the rig.
• Ensure that the rig is operated in accordance within the design parameters and in conformance with Company’s RMS. Be present at the rig floor or relevant area of the rig to direct all critical activities
• The Rig Manager is accountable for the safe operation of all company and contract personnel, efficient and productive use of supplies, and proper maintenance, upkeep and repair of the rig and support equipment.
• Take responsibility for planned maintenance, certification, record-keeping and reporting
• Maintain all required records and documentation at rig site and produce accurate and timely reports on all aspects of rig operations and personnel matters
• Develop rig move plans and manage rig moves, taking personal responsibility for safely rigging-down & rigging-up of the drilling rig, camp and associated equipment
• Maintain the validity of personal certification and training together with that for the rig crews
• Ensure that incident reports are filled out in detail and in a timely manner in the event of an incident, illness, near miss, equipment damage or environmental spill
• Ensure understanding of, and compliance with, Company’s permit to work system • Personally responsible for own safety and conducting ones self to the standards of Company’s Policies and Procedures
• Take personal responsibility for, and demonstrate leadership in, HSE. Play a leading role in safety meetings and the safety program
• Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to direct reports, and manage their efforts so as to maximize their contribution to operational effectiveness and performance
•Prefers candidates with atleast 10 + years of experience;
•valid supervisory level certificate;
•Extensive Drilling & Workover experience as Rig Supervisor with both offshore and onshore drilling operations.
• Must have excellent communications skills.
General Manager - Business Development (Malaysia)
·Provide leadership in Business Development activities for the Company.
·Building up and maintaining existing and potential new clients, having a thorough understanding of the company businesses, as well as an understanding of new prospect business.
·overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities. This will include sales and marketing plans, providing timely and reliable management information that supports the business strategy, goals and objectives.
·Provide proposal to management on potential partnership for business ventures that could enhance the company’s position in the market place.
·Responsible also for ensuring delivery of top line revenue and profit, developing loyalty from existing customers, attracting new customers and building significant brand equity.
·Propose alternative solution based on the original customer’s requirement to ensure the company’s value proposition still intact
· Gather and analyse market intelligence for new projects and opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience
·Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
·At least 8- 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
·Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.

Requirements:
•At least 15 years of experience in engineering design predominantly in upstream oil and gas industry including 5 years in a managerial position and 8 years in onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
Qualifications
•Registered Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers in Malaysia is preferred.
•Shall have demonstrated the ability to coordinate with other disciplines and the Client, assign and supervise individual work assignments, and effectively manage scope, budgets, and schedule for engineering activities.
Responsibilities:
•Leads the engineering team to ensure the design meets the contract’s scope, schedule and quality requirements, and the work is performed within budget.

Job Description
• Works with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and / or Head of Departments (HOD) to customize (from procedure template), rewrite or reconstruct (from existing procedures) all departmental P&P manuals.
• Coordinates the review, approval and revision of procedures, specifications and forms.
• Manages the version control of P&P manuals, resolutions of conflicting changes, and working closely with the document owners to assure all requirements are met and updated regularly.
• Departmental P&P manuals include: Accounting; Finance; IT; Legal; HR; Supply Chain; HSE, QMS, Operations, and Business Development.
• Customizes and documents Policy and Procedure (P&P) manuals to ensure consistency among all departments company wide.
• Reports to Head, Business Support Services.
Job Requirements
• University degree in Technical Writing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing preferably writing processes and procedures.
• Good command of English and strong writing skills are essential.
• Ability to diagram (flow-chart) out process by listening and/or observing process.
• Strong communication skill and comfortable working with Subject Matter Experts and Head of Departments.
• Observant and high attention to details.
• Flexible, self-directed, and highly motivated.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and any Flow-Chart application.
• Conversant with any Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) will be a big advantage.
